Monday of the following week, you'll have the emailed appointment letter.

I hope that you're right Darnell. But I'll give them a few more days or even one more week to finish and email the appointment letter.

i have told by one friend that i can send IV packtage before aos packtage. can i do that ?

As others have said, it doesn't matter what order you send packages. NVC just needs to receive both, regardless of order.

IV is now in process

Now should I wait til IV is PAID an send both packets at once... or should I send the AOS now??

Up to you! If it were me, I'd send the AOS now.

Sheesh! I've been waiting for a case complete from the NVC. Instead, today I received a checklist from them. They want a police certificate from India, where I was born and lived until I was 21.

The thing is that I am no longer a citizen of India, since I lost citizenship automatically when I became a Canadian citizen last year. And India does not provide police certificates to non_indian citizens who live outside India. The State department acknowledges this on its website.

I wrote this in my cover letter when submitting the IV package. But today I got this checklist asking for an Indian police check. Immediately below the request they provide information on how to obtain one, but state that these are not available to non-Indian citizens applying for visas outside of India.

So... catch 22? I guess I should call them.

Stupid NVC Unfortunately, sometimes the reviewing officers don't know how things work. Call up tonight (preferably) and speak with a supervisor. Explain your situation and how you're unable to obtain an Indian PCC due to your non-citizenship. A supervisor review should clear things up.

And the good news just keeps on coming. My DS-3032 was accepted and my IV BILL the wonderful nice lady said will be invoiced in a day or two. I told her I hope she is having a great 3 day weekend and she said they will be fully staffed all weekend and monday. So people stay alert out there.

I feel some interviews, case closes and invoices coming.

Grats on the great news! The IV bill should be invoiced next week, and you should be able to send out the IV package near the end of next week too (if you have everything).

If she is answering the phones than what do they do on the weekends. hmmm. I know NVC started the full weekends in July. Thats when one of the ladies said that started when everything hit the fan there.I think tonights queue for CSC and VSC and NVC will e full of nice texts and emails. What a way to end the month. I am thrilled.

I truly hate the email processing capabilities at NVC. Or Rather, the lacksidaisical(sp? ) crew that programmed the 'auto-scan' function to seek out documents and DS-3032 stuff. Truly, absolutely hate, with 29 pints of bitter to sweeten the hate.
