Who knows when i get case# I will ask. I am just happy after 33 dats to hear Case Received cuz no one knew where it was. Happy. USCIS showed it transferred to NVC July 10th. like WOW

My case # came last week. It took 12 business days. Keep calling!!

We got our interview date for Sept. 12 but we are not going to be around. How do we reschedule ( postpone) the interview? Do you have an email template to email the embassy?

Just called the NVC and was told that they will be doing scheduling additional interviews next week for September. She told me to call back around August 15 and I should have a date. (But of course, I will be calling again on Monday for an update.)

This seems pretty accurate looking at the number of people posting in this forum who got case completes about two weeks prior to our case complete that are now reporting interview dates in early September.

May Allah grant us an interview before September 15. Ameen.

FYI, Based on my recent experience, I now feel it's totally useless to call NVC to find out if an interview date is scheduled. They won't schedule a date for you quickly if you keep calling them everyday. They will do their work only when it's a right time for them to do it.

Going forward, I won't recommend any of my friends to call NVC to find out an interview date everyday. May be once in every 3 to 5 days is fine just to make sure you were not missed out on email notification.

Just contact the embassy (either through phone, if possible, or by email). Just explain that you were assigned an interview date for September 12th, but won't be able to make it, and that you'd like to reschedule.
