At that time, you can mail it :) It's the same process as the AOS bill and paperwork. My IV bill appeared as PAID the next day after paying it, so it shouldn't be long for you! :)

My dear husband's interview is next Tuesday in Montreal - I'm flying up Saturday to meet him there, we figured that we'll spend a couple days extra enjoying the city, since neither of us have been there before.

I've compiled the paperwork per other's reviews of the consulate's requirements, and we've gone over the questions, etc....I'm nervous as a long-tailed cat in a room of rocking chairs! All this time apart and now we may finally get to live together as 'regular' married folks take for granted....it's like getting married all over again! Argh!

I'm so glad to see everyone's cases seem to be making progress - hoping and wishing that we'll all be with our loved ones soon, forever :luv:B-)(L)

Well, tomorrow I fly over to Sydney. By this time next week, my husband's interview will be over! So many thanks to all the good people here for the help and support--I hate to think how much longer this process would have taken if I had not found VJ.

Good luck to everyone out there. May you have good news soon!

Have a safe flight tomorrow. And if you're not on VJ again before next week: good luck on the interview!!

AOS packet and IV packet in the mail and being sent overnight to NVC. Post office said guaranteed to be there by noon tomorrow. So, when should I start calling to see if they've received and reviewed my paperwork?? So excited that this has gone by so quickly. Hoping for an October interview for my hubby in London :)

Grats on the progress! And I'd suggest to start calling them on Monday. Give them at least a few days laughing.gif

Man Phil look at you go. Be sure to print that bar-coded sheet. I am right behind you. Husband hasn't checked email to see if DS-3032 accepted. I am abit nervous only because I can't control this I hate having him mess with my immigration mojo. LOL

Please remember, the DS-3032 acceptance email doesn't really matter. What matters is the IV being invoiced in the payment portal. So, don't worry whatsoever about your husband not checking his email. You should be keeping an eye on the payment portal to see if the IV bill has been invoiced. That's ultimately the indicator that the DS-3032 has been accepted.

IV packet in mail. Should be there by 8/30.

I really hope there's no problems with your payment and it clears before they get your package...

Eeee, another soon approaching interview! Make sure you double and triple check you have everything before leaving!

And just to make sure, your husband got his medical done, right? It's not showing in your timeline and I can't remember if you've mentioned it or not headbonk.gif

Yup, he had his medical with Dr Cheema's office in Vancouver (they took over for the now-closed Woking Medical) earlier in August, they sent him his results the same week, so he's got his "DO NOT OPEN!" packets to take to the consulate :D

Hey Saylin -

First, thanks for the link! I passed it on to the mister, and he wrote an email to the inspector general's office, copying in the NVC. Lo and behold, we have a case complete today! Just waiting on the interview to be scheduled now – so I'll be going back through the guides to figure out what I do next. Have already had my medical and the results are sitting at the embassy waiting!

Thanks again for your invaluable help, support and other advice. It's really appreciated.
