Yes - see the template a few posts above this one and also the one at the beginning of this thread.

You have to wait until they invoice you for payment online. Hopefully you gave them your two email addresses.

I'm at the same stage as you are.

I forgot to request my IIN number - does it have any use before the DS-3032 is accepted or am I fine to request the IIN in a couple of days?

As I read it, I can use it to check when I am invoiced, right?

The only use the IIN has is to be able to sign into the payment portal to see if either of the bills has been invoiced. If you want to wait a couple of days, that's up to you.

Hum, usually i'd save on postage but I'm worried about getting a case complete before the next interview-assigning day. Does anyone know when that will be?

There is no "interview assigning day" or cut-off date as many operators mention. NVC schedules interviews ALL month long.

Don't need to wait on instructions. If you have a case number, you can send the DS-3032. The link to the template is on the first post. And if your AOS has been invoiced, then by all means, pay it!

And 18 days is NOT long to get a case number. There's been a few members that had to wait TWO MONTHS to get a case number. Consider yourself lucky to get it so fast!

Visa Approved!!

Yes call back and make sure they have both the petitioner and beneficiary emails. Get your IIN number as well. Seems to really depend who you get. When I called they asked me for all the info including the emails and it was only when I asked for the case number that I definitely knew it had been entered.

Oh, whoops, didn't see that blush.gif I'd say the mother's name would be in 13 then as the I-864A is part of the mother's I-864.

hi saylin,

Hmm, I'm not too sure. I'm thinking it might mean the relationship to the mother (so, spouse), but I don't know 100%. You might have to call up NVC and ask. If you do, make sure you call at least a minimum of five times and ask as the operators' answers may vary.

So regarding I-864, Part 4. Question 15. We should write United States even if the USC lives abroad with the petitioner and then prove the intent to re-establish domicile, correct?

(We plan on using the letter given in the F.A.Q. on page 1 and fill in with what we have.)
