Front load means to send proof of relationship evidence in the IV package so the officer can review it before your interview. In tougher countries, a lot of the officers already have made their decision on whether to approve or deny a case before the actual interview. To help with that, people from those countries "front load" their case with plenty of evidence to show the officer their relationship is real.

Yes, you can send copies instead of the originals. Just bring the originals to the interview to show, if requested.

oh, ok awsome... thanks. he already has most of the stuff with him as i gave it to him in may. so ill just put some other things that he doesnt have in it when it comes for that time. :) thanks :)

VISA APPROVED! Interview was pretty easy! 2.5 hours total, but only 5 minutes with the American Consulate Officer. The questions were pretty basic. Rest of it was preliminary stuff, including fingerprints and all!

All done! Thanks to all that helped. Special thanks to Saylin. Keep up the great work!

Do the packages have to be sent separately or can they be sent together?

Either one or the other works. Again, as long as NVC receives both needed packages, they don't really care. Each way has their pros and cons.

What are the pros and cons? AOS bill was invoiced so we're starting to think about 1vs2 packages

Also we sent our DS-3032 email on friday, is it worth it to call them and ask if they've gotten it or should we just wait?

Regarding the copies of the AOS/IV packets - we just hold onto them right, only one copy of everything should be sent to the NVC correct?
