EXCUSSSSSSSSSSSSSSEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!! I call NVC and see if finally maybe I have a case# and she says "yes we have your file as of July 30th. Within 2 to 4 weeks you will get email instructions on what is your next steps to take". WTH .

I think some of these operators are free lancing and making up stuff as they go along. Ughhhhhh so exasperating.

dwheels I see you're through TX? I have a friend who was through Dallas -- she was approved end of July and still doesn't have a case # either.

Hmm... I wonder when I should start calling. I was only approved on Monday (8/13)

I feel so stupid asking these questions b/c my i-130 was marinating for over 8 months so I SHOULD have had time to read up on this. But I'm so excited to be asking these questions too!!!!

This is what VJ members might recommend: call a week out, then call a week later, after that start calling every couple of days. After 3 weeks, call every day. Average time from NOA2 to case number is one month. Hope you get yours sooner!

My case got completed yesterday. ALHAMDULILLAH i am so happy :dance: . thank you Saylin and other VJ'ers.

Thankfully this one girl who also went through DC had a case # with NVC within 2 weeks of being approved through local office. I hooooooooppppppeeeeeeeeee that's the same for us!

I received my case number Aug 10th. I keep checking the payment website but the AOS bill is not yet invoiced. Does any one know how much longer it could be? Today is the 3rd business day.

Interesting thing to note: though we never submitted the original PCC from Malaysia (just submitted the receipt), it still says O next to police certificate She will have the PCC with her though at embassy if everything goes as expected.
