Same as acto...got my case number after 18 business days. Your NOA 2 is after mine, hang in there it's coming :)

USCIS

Dec 30th 2011: I-130 sent

Jan 3rd 2012: NOA 1

Jul 11th 2012: NOA 2 (190 days from NOA 1)

NVC

Jul 16th 2012: Case received

Aug 8th 2012: Case # assigned (18 business days)

yahooo !!!!!! I just called NVC and asked. NVC operator gave my assigned case #, Invoice Identification # :);). Somehow, I tried to provide email addresses but the operator said that someone else in the office had my case open so he could not enter these email address. I provided them to him anyway. Hopefully, he did not throw away the paper that he noted our email addresses. Do you think I should call back tomorrow to make sure our email addresses are in the system ?

For me:

11 JUN 2012 - NOA2

NVC - MEP

2 JUL 2012 - Case Received at NVC

19 JUL 2012 - Case number, IIN and Beneficiary ID received, gave e-mail addresses!

23 JUL 2012 - Was able to log in and fill out the DS-261 and I made myself the agent! I also stated that I was assisting the beneficiary ( since I signed in as him )

24 JUL 2012 AOS fee available and paid through the payment portal - direct deposit

25 JUL 2012 AOS fee shown as paid!! I-864 package e-mailed to NVCelectronic@state.gov

01 AUG 2012 IV Bill Invoiced and paid

02 AUG 2012 IV Bill shown as paid and DS-260 completed and documents sent!

08 AUG 2012 RFE! :crying: sent passport photos wrong, so re-sent!

15 AUG 2012 case COMPLETE!!! Yay!!

13 SEP 2012 Received Interview Date! OCT. 5th!

20 SEP 2012 Scheduled ASC appointment by calling 7034392313. Two days earlier I logged into the website but it said there were no appointments available. But when I called, they scheduled an appointment for me. :)

Well I have the NVC case number now, have given them my husbands email address and my husband sent in the DS-3032 yesterday...now we are just waiting again... man this is killing me today!!! Patience, patience, patience... I need so much more of it!!!

Aug 15,2012- AOS Fee $88 invoiced, paid and in process

Aug 16,2012- AOS shows as paid

Aug 17,2012- I-864 overnighted to NVC

Aug 24,2012- DS-3032 acceptance received

Aug 24,2012- DS-230 invoiced/paid

Sept 4,2012- DS-230 overnighted to NVC (forgot to date page 2 waoo???, can't stop beating myself now, pls no RFE)

Sept 5,2012- DS-230 received by NVC; Oct 4- date received via email for scheduled interview

Sept 14, 2012-checklist requested for docs already submitted

Sept 20,2012- Case complete at NVC

5/15/12: RFE (daughter's birth cert)

5/15/12: RFE Evidence Sent (never received)

8/10/12: Infopass, evidence handed to officer adjudicating case

You don't get notified for either cases. You need to call to find those things out.

Hmm... I wonder when I should start calling. I was only approved on Monday (8/13)

I feel so stupid asking these questions b/c my i-130 was marinating for over 8 months so I SHOULD have had time to read up on this. But I'm so excited to be asking these questions too!!!! :D

I am so excited I know this a long crazy process but every step that gets completed is so exciting and brings such hope that we will be done sooner. I just paid my AOS fees and will submit my documentation tomorrow... I cant wait to be done and him to be here with me...

No one yet from nigeria got a date yet, we are like 6 people from nigeria on VJ that is waiting...... we al are hoping for a september date as well

You can start calling, you never know they might have your case already.... LOL
