If you want, you can try contacting the embassy in a few days (give them time to receive your case from NVC) and asking if there's any early slots open. Worth a shot ;)

And the interview email you just got is the last thing you're going to receive. Go back to the first post in this thread, I added some information at the bottom on where to get country-specific medical and interview information.

Thanks Saylin! Yup, I had looked at the country specific information, that's what I was referring to when I said that it's super outdated. I guess I will just try contacting the embassy in a few days.

Congrats to all the people that have gotten good news today as well. And as to those of you who are still waiting...have faith, as the previous poster said, "the sun will come out tomorrow!"

Feb. 20, 2012 - sent in I-130 packet from abroad

March 3, 2012 - NOA1

March 14, 2012 - NOA2

March 21, 2012 - NVC Received

April 4, 2012 - NVC Case Number Received

April 9, 2012 - AOS bill Paid

April 12(ish) - IV bill Paid

June 11, 2012 - AOS and IV packages received by NVC

June 18, 2012 - Checklist received from NVC (to send forms that I am not even supposed to have!)

June 20, 2012 - IV packet approved

June 26, 2012 - AOS Checklist response sent

July 18, 2012 - Case complete

August 23, 2012 - Medical Appointment

September 26, 2012 - Interview - supposedly approved but put on Administrative Processing :-(

October 18, 2021 - Received Visa

Dec. 13, 2012 - POE at Miami

Dec. 20, 2012 - received Social Security Card

Jan. 3, 2013 - received Greencard

OH NO! RFE! I didn't send the photos quite right! :( and I knew it too. Man I should have listened to you guys but when my hubby scanned them in wrong I was just so anxious to send them that I did anyway. :(:bonk::crying:

I'm glad I took Saylin's advice and called the NVC! I will do the photos how you guys told me to! Bummer but I'm still happy they reviewed the rest of my docs and all okay.. Just an extra week I guess!

How did you scan your photos?

Fix it and send the checklist response pronto. Case complete next week for you ;)

Oh it was all wrong. They were sideways and the information wasn't written on them, but in my crazy anxiousness to get them sent I didn't think it REALLY mattered because in my country specific information it said something about bringing photos to the interview if they weren't sent to the NVC so I thought maybe it didn't really matter. But it did!

But you're so sweet about it instead of being like, TOLD YA SO! You're amazing.

And that's the kind of attitude that I need right now. :) thank you!

I'd also mention the email is for a checklist response. Make sure you include the IV bar-coded cover sheet as the first page in the PDF.

What Barcode sheet? I got my RFE over the phone and I never used a cover sheet to send the documents. Not needed for electronic processing.

They probably have changed it since 2011 :P Not sure why EP folk would be excused from not sending it, but whatever!
