The end is in sight! I'm so excited that we've made it this far! Couldn't have done it without VJ! We're still surprised by the speed that we are getting through NVC. AOS package was delivered today and the IV bill was paid today. The IV package is ready to go once it shows paid- hopefully tomorrow. I'm hoping we can make the cut-off for interview scheduling this month. Have we missed it yet??

Being that NVC schedules interviews all month long, no, you didn't miss anything no0pb.gif

MS Saylin - a question:

We signed up for LOOMIS as per the instructions, and I understand the Montreal consulate wants you to present a copy of the Applicant Information page, which shows the reference number and selected LOOMIS location...however, if you try to print the page, it just comes out as blank. We've now tried this on three different computers with three seperate web browsers.

Does this page HAVE TO be printed, or can we just write down the info? And if it needs to be printed...how do we manage? Even tried to print screen with FRAPS, no luck, lol.

EDIT - nevermind, finally made it work :D

blink.gif I've never heard of the applicant summary page coming out blank when printed. Something must be going on...

And how would print screening not work? Did it not show up properly when you pasted in a photo software?

Are you trying with different printers? Is the printer out of ink?

What kind of computers are you using (PC or Mac)? What browsers?

This applicant summary page is absolutely needed for the interview. The officer will not let you in the front door without it. I'm not sure if simply writing down the information is sufficient. They may want visual proof.

Was using IE, then Chrome, then Firefox, with a PC.

Wasn't working in Photoshop, but finally got it to work in an ancient version of MS Paint. My computer hates me...but have it now, two printouts just in case :D

Phew, glad it finally worked! Wonder why nothing worked for you.

If I remember correctly, I took a screenshot and used Paint. Although, back when I interviewed, the applicant summary page wasn't required, I just had it in case.

You can see in my signature the time between getting my NOA2 and receiving my NVC case number. They sent it to me in an email, so I didn't have to call them, although I've read a lot of posts recommending to call the NVC daily to get the case number.

Oh wow. That's really fast! Others takes like a month or more before they get their case numbers.. I hope ours will come soon!

So I guess I am right? There is no such thing as a CIS Case No ???

The DS-3032 Email Template posted here on VJ is not logical!

CIS Case No: <USCIS Case Number> or <NOA Receipt Number>

1. What is the defference between the "CIS Case No" and the "USCIS Case Number"?

my guess would be, they are the same?

2. There is no such thing as a "USCIS Case Number", Correct?

what I mean is... the correct title is, "Notice of Action Receipt Number", Correct?

Here is the correct line for template then:

Notice of Action Receipt Number: <NOA Receipt Number>

Plus after talking to an operator at the NVC, I was told that ONLY the "NVC Case Number: is needed for the DS-3032 email.

correct?

From the USCIS. There is NO such thing as a USCIS case number.

I WAS RIGHT!!!!!!! It is called a Notice of Action Application Receipt Number.

NOT a USCIS case number!

"To view the status of a case, please enter the corresponding application receipt number. The 13-character application receipt number can be found on application notices you have received from the USCIS."

REQUIRED SECURITY INFORMATION:

You are required to provide the following security information with each inquiry to receive a case specific response:

* Name of the person submitting the inquiry

* NVC case number or USCIS receipt number

* Petitioner's name and date of birth

* Principal Applicant's name and date of birth

UPDATE:

They only need the NVC case number.

So the USCIS receipt number is optional. (we also included this information in the email, but I called it the Notice of Action Receipt Number)

If you want something done right, you do it yourself!
