Can someone share the procedure to submit documents with vfs before K1 visa interview?

what sorts of documents are to be submitted with VFS 5 days prior to the Interview?

Probably Affidavit of support, and supporting financial records are to be submitted. what else do we need submit? In what format? i mean do we have to put it in an envelop? Do we need a cover letter?

which consulate have you applied at? when you go to VFS they have a seperate counter for submission of immigrant visa documents...you will be called according to the token number...they will name the documents and you just have to submit them in the order they will ask..at new delhi VFS they asked for appointment letter, passport(original and photocopy), PCC, birth certificate, form DS 230 PART 1 AND 2, DS 156(2 copies), ds 156k,affidavit of financial support, relationship proof. they will put everything in a folder themselves. dont forget to carry your originals. although it was not mentioned that it is mandatory to submit the originals , the lady at the counter told me that if i wish to submit the documents with VFS i will have to submit both the photocopy and originals.

you also have to pay VFS courir charges rupees 394. after you have submited all the documents they will issue you a reciept for the same.

Thank you very much for your reply.

Do we pay Visa fees at the embassy or at VFS?

How do we pay Courier charges? Cash? Credit card? Cheque? DD?
