My case was completed at NVC on July 2nd. Still no interview date. I am so disappointed and depressed right now.

I've been in touch with the embassy in Stockholm and my wife called the NVC last week. If I don't hear anything by Friday I'm going to email the NVC and ask what's going on. This is so frustrating.

wowwww that sucks dude. I remember we start the journey around the same time back in December and I can feel the stress and frustration for waiting so long to get an interview date. I thought only Indian consulate is the busiest among many other US consulates, but looks like Stockholm is top on the chart. Hope you get your interview date soon...... Good luck!

I didn't necessarily think I'd be in the US by now, since I will have stuff to deal with once I get my visa (namely selling my apartment, getting rid of stuff and having the rest shipped... But I thought I would at least know my interview date. I'm just sick and tired of waiting. The ball is not in my court right now, so what can I do but wait?

I realize that there are people out there who've waited longer than I have. I'm just disappointed that our case was completed at the NVC well over a month ago, and since then nothing has happened. I just want to move so I can be with my wife, y'know?

Called the NVC to day and the operator told me they were scheduling interviews for septembre (Nigeria). He said i should call back Friday. Friday is just 2 days way lol.

LOL..... that's the same thing they told me yesterday... they think friday is far away, we will keep calling until we have a date

Wow I can't believe your still waiting for a date. I remember being in the NVC thread and thinking you were almost done. I have no idea how long it will take Montreal but I hope it's quicker than Stockholm. Good Luck to you bud. This is a long haul huh?

Operators have their work schedule only till this Friday, so they don't want to receive lot of calls this week while at work

Yeah. My wife came to visit me in Sweden last year, she came here on June 17. We got married on June 30. She flew home on July 2nd. I haven't seen her in person since we left each other at the airport. Sure, Skype is nice and all, but... You know.

Hey Sunshine..... Whats ur interview date...??? My NVC case complete date was Aug 10...dnt know how to wait for date and again how far the date will be>..
