You have made some very good points and I appreciate your openness. It's refreshing, honest, and most of all not rude and insulting like some folks. That has been my only point with this last campaign in light of how some of our members choose to carry themselves. Not everyone has class like you do. I have stated before that I have participated in one not so flattering exchange, which I truly regret because I pi**ed away a potential friendship.

What I don't get is... What's wrong with being civil? What’s wrong with agreeing to disagree or debating a point with being rude or insulting? Call me a dreamer and the sheriff (LOL!) That doesn't mean that we follow an opinion blindly simply to avoid confrontation. Sometimes things will get out of hand (that’s life what can you do) but some of the responses from folks are down right uncalled for and completely unnecessary with a blatant intent on disrespecting and insulting the other member. You are right. I have disagreed with some positions on VJ therefore I do not cast the first stone, but I have attempted not be disrespectful and insulting (save one, which I’m sorry for…)

However, the same can be said for my mock double posting of threads, but I’m not insulting anyone in the process. Obviously there is a small group that finds it annoying, but you can disregard/ignore the post, post your displeasure, or join in… That’s completely up to the member, but they can save the curse word(s) included in their displeasure (if you would pretty please). I know who most of the small group of members are that my mock double post annoys and that’s cool. It’s no sweat off my back and I’m hoping that it’s no sweat off yours because I’m not attempting to insult or annoy you. The majority know that I mean no harm and I’m just goofing off, having fun, and passing time until my baby arrives. Then I will be out of most of your hair, for the most part, because I’ll have other activities that will take up my time. I’m just having fun with some of our members that choose to participate in my antics.

p.s. - For the record, the sheriff thing is a joke and I find it odd that people are one disturbed by it and have nothing better to do than mention it. It would be my VJ ID but I have already changed it once with 365 days. By the by, even my closing “cheers” has been mentioned (implied as annoying). How charming of them…

Continue to be who you are. Just because some wish to be more civil than others doesn't make them in the wrong, and those who don't, you are not going to change that...everyone is aware that the world is not full of lollipops and rainbows...and no one really needs to be consistently reminded of it. I hopefully treat ppl on here as I would any person I meet in my every day life....I don't need to picking an arguement with every Tom, ####### or Harry, I would never get anything done that was important if I did.

This is an public forum..post what you like...everyone else does, if you are not harming anyone then you have no one to answer to. If you want to be 'the Sheriff' go ahead...I personally don't give a sh!t cos you can't throw me in jail

just ignore what you don't like...unless you want to get a point across which fine and dandy too

There are members that I find annoying and sometimes I make a snide/sarcastic comment but most of the time I hold back from doing that, because life is full of ppl who piss you off and simply not worth raising your blood pressure over...but no one is perfect and I have had some moments....don't we all.

VJ .....is diverse and multicultural and mostly a great place to hang out...

VJ .... tis a silly place....

P.S...I have a few fluffy kittens spare if ya want one

As the saying goes ''You can't please EVERYBODY'' ..Gary told me that VJ is a great place to hangout..and when people argue/disagree/namecalling and all that is NOTHING compare to what we are dealing in everyday life in real world..I maybe having a hard time to understand matako's remarks over Gary's taking pills to quit smoking and his withdrawal or Babybunny's questioning the way I post about sex and passion and my sensitivity cause me to make sarcastic replies to them but hey that's life..they can post anything they want. I just have to learn to deal it though..I will and I can..give me chance

You seem fixated on this idea that we are all supposed to be the get along gang here. People are GOING TO HAVE DIFFERENT OPINIONS. People are going to disagree...that is life, that is group dynamics, that is just the way things are. There are people here that think your "VJ Sheriff" thing is the most puerile thing they've ever seen. There are people that think your creating new threads to talk mock other stupid threads or to tell us to all stop fighting are completely ridiculous...

and that's fine.

Not everyone here HAS to be all sunshine and roses all the time. We disagree, that's what makes life great - differences in opinion. If we all thought the same, we'd all dress the same, marry the same people, watch the same show, listen to the same music....how dull is that??

Why must you keep posting new threads calling out people who don't always agree with everyone? What purpose is this serving??Why do you have SUCH a problem with people disagreeing. People's feelings get hurt - shoot, mine have gotten hurt here maybe once, but that's group dynamics!

It's an internet forum full of a multitude of different, varying, interesting, weird, fun, boring, offbeat personalities...that's what makes it great. So here is MY current difference of opinion on VJ today....

I don't care if people fight....it's real life....it's group dynamics....it's unavoidable. You can post as many stupid little joke threads, or threads like this one...post them til you are blue in the face...and everyone here gets it. WE GET IT...you are the "LOL! CHEERS! SHERIFF" guy who wants us to all get along - we're on board with that ....we got it...we know where you stand...

but you posting all this stuff isn't going to get anyone to STOP posting their difference of opinion...

Differences are what make us great...I would HATE to live in a world where everyone looked, talked and acted just like me and agreed with every single word I said. How ridiculously BORING would that be?

At THAT juncture, you yourself were arguing with someone to make them post their timeline - that's right Uling, YOU were arguing...and I backed you up actually...and was "fighting" to get people to post their timelines...

and you backed me up 100%!!! You even said I made a great point.

so what I hear you saying is...fighting is ok if we agree with YOU...if we're opposing you - we're all mean, high fiving, smart ### people????
