So hungry...off to cook dinner...

(Don't mess with me Daniel!!):innocent:

Something cool to add: I lost a couple lbs last month. :D But I don't avoid certain foods (except maybe soda), I just have less of the bad things and more of the good things, without neglecting things like a little chocolate here and there.:dance:

Congratulations, sister Stina!

Something I just read in a magazine the other day - buying frozen veggies is sometimes better nutrionally than fresh because fresh ain't all that fresh. I rarely bought frozen veggies before assuming they aren't as good as fresh.

i mean, frozen veggis definitely aren't the wrost thing you can eat. definately better than a lot of other stuff. but better than fresh? eh??? how so?

Because 'fresh' veg have often been sitting on a truck for days on end. That's after sitting in a field or a building for days too. The veg lose a lot of nutrients that way. Frozen veg are often frozen at source sealing all the good stuff in. Only buy fresh if you know for sure it is fresh ie. at a farmers market.

Oh joy - another pointless thread by our self-proclaimed 'Sheriff'! :diablo:

What I can't figure out is why "Deputy devilette" has been on me so hard lately. Did I wrong you in another life and you just became conscience of it? Anyway, I was appointed Sheriff just like I have appointed you my Deputy. So get to work and I expect a full report in the morning!!! :D

frozen veggies are usually flash frozen soon after harvest. retains much more nutrition that way. and they are a heck of a lot better than canned stuff!

He says it was ok...I didn't get to bed til 1am. Not used to sleeping without him y'know? He says its hard work but keeps him busy which helps since he's not used to working overnight like this yet. I'm tip toeing around the house now while he sleeps, poor baby. :)

Peace to All creatures great and small............................................

But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).
