i have two silly quastions.

i was an aupair, two year rule does not apply on me, and i am back home applying for a k1 visa.

i asked the aupair agency to give me a letter saying i actually worked as a proof i was in the us (just an extra, i have passport stamps.) is it necessery?

also im sending them my visa and marking the part that says the two year rule doesnt apply on me.. should i do that?

and one more thing -

is it ok that i already have a social security number? (im writing in the the i-129 form..)

thank you!

when sending copies, try not to mark on them, i heard this is bad. Yes its ok to already have a social security number. Im guessing the proof of being in the USA is to show proof of meeting your fianee? if so also include fotos to support your primary evidence, also include the stamps, they help ALOT.

Hello and welcome to the forum!

No need to explain to the government that the 2 year rule doesn't apply to you. They issue the visas and they are well aware of the rules.

Just send copies of your passport with the stamps and anything else that can serve as evidence of the two of you being in the same place, at the same time (at least once in the past 2 years).

It's ok to use your SSN# because you obtained it based on your J1 (I'm assuming).
