So, you've hit a 'negative boundary test' here and it failed.

01/20/12 - I-130 sent to Chicago Lockbox.

01/26/12 - NOA1 received and processing at Vermont.

06/28/12 - NOA2 announced on status check.

06/29/12 - NVC received case learned on 07/2/12.

06/30/12 - Hard copy NOA2 received.

07/09/12 - NVC Casefile Number and IIN Issued.

07/16/12 - Receive and Sent DS-3032 via email.

07/17/12 - Mailed DS-3032 via mail, AOS bill received via email, paid online, Optin email sent.

07/18/12 - Optin accepted and new case number, AOS marked paid, emailed AOS packet.

07/24/12 - Assigned as Agent, IV Fee bill received via email, paid online.

07/25/12 - IV Fee marked paid, emailed IV packet.

As she was the only one there and others are not allowed into the interview, it is difficult to tell how she answered the questions or if she appeared nervous. Knowing her like I do, I suspect she handled it well and as the proffesional that she is. There is no telling what they are looking for. I called again today and got a woman with an attitude but with the same answer. Under admin. review and we don't know anything else.

Again todays word is PATIENCE ! :)

After writing a long letter to GUZ. This respnse.

Ms. XXXX's case requires additional administrative processing. This is only a temporary refusal. You don't need to worry about it. We do not need additional information or documents from you while the case is under administrative processing. This may take up to several months. We will contact Ms. XXXX by mail when the case is ready for continued processing. Your patience and understanding is appreciated.

Just an update:

GUZ Embassy has sent here a letter Aug. 23. She hasn't received it yet so we don't know whats in it. Girl at the call center told me they are probably requesting more info., however no info. boxes were checked on the original blue sheet. Just have to wait a few days and see what they want. It's going to suck if she has to take another 20 hour train ride for a second interview and hotel expense.

Heres an update:

Yes I call twice a week, but have found an email has the best response and I believe direct from the embassy.

I emailed yesterday and here is the response.

Due to internal procedure, mails here take around two weeks to arrive at applicant's address. You are welcome to contact us again if your beneficiary does not receive it by September 06, 2012.

No further documents except passport are required this time, but the child needs return to the consulate for fingerprint as she is over 14 years old now.

The child turned 14 the day after the interview. Good news is they are working on it. It actually says they need their passports so I would assume they will be given visas at this time.

Bad news is they both have to take another 20 hour train ride and over night hotel. $$$$$$ wasted !

Yes; according to the email I received, they are requesting the finger prints and passports. This is good news. Down side is the expense of 2 travel tickets and hotel back in Guangzhou. 20 hours travel each way. But at least it's coming to us.
