Records of Domestic Flights?

I'm just curious: Does the border officers have records of flights that took place within the US for each foreigner? For example if a foreigner entered the US at JFK, then flew to California, then Miami etc, would the border officers have records of the flights to California and Miami etc or can they only know when a foreigner enters and leaves the POE?

The airlines don't send records of flights to the government or something? I know it sounds silly but I really just don't know for sure.

But that doesn't mean that the government doesn't have access to that information should they want it for some reason. It's not like it is anonymous. Are you worried about something?

The answer is not the border patrol, but TSA does monitor every flight and every passenger.

TSA does monitor ones flying pattern.
