I just received my Packet 3 and booked an appt with my family doctor to ask about my vaccination records. What is the link of the required shots we are to have? Do I have to get my family doctor to sign anything or obtain a copy of my records?

here you go.

Just get a copy of all of your vaccinations and take that with you.

Most of these you should already have, especially coming from Canada....

Get a copy of your records or you can have a antibody titer test done for the required vaccines. Not sure how it works in BC, but in QC, we have a health book that keeps track of that stuff. Whenever you get a vaccine, the healthcare professional signs and indicates it in there. That's what I brought.

Also I recommend you get the missing shots before your medical appointment. You can have them done during your medical, but they will charge you much more than your usual doctor will.

You may need to get another tetanus shot if you are due for one (you need to get one every 10 years) and if you haven't already had chicken pox you'll need to be vaccinated for that too. Otherwise you would have had most of them in school growing up. I didn't get my records from my family doctor though....I had to get them from the Community Health Dept.

That website links all the possible vaccinations you might need. If you are Canadian, here is a more accurate list - it varies depending on your age. I got this from Woking Medical's site (they did the medical exams for Vancouver - even though they are closing this info is still valid as far as I know).

Their website is/was: http://www.wokingmedical.com/Vaccinations.html
