At some point the whole thing (the country) will collapse. All the social programs will go belly up and we will look like Europe in the 30's. At that point we will face a moment of truth that cannot be avoided. We will either turn to a totalitarian system like Germany did or we will restructure the entire country to a point that it is back in line with the original intent of the founders. One way or another something drastic will happen. We cannot sustain the social programs as they are today.

You make a great point: How does a Country clearly in decline, deal with it's surging debt and Obligations here and abroad and how does a mono-party system which has a foundation of being Santa Clause 365 days a year face reality? (after the egg laying goose has vanished)

As has been shown, when the party of "restraint" has lost it's voice and voting power , the Bloombergs and Obama types will Shepard our lives in such a way as to make it work.

At some point in time the shell game will come to an end but right now the whole world wants.... no, needs this shell game to continue, so that we can keep buying whatever it is they are selling us.

It's always much easier to look at conditions and be able to predict with near certainty that a terrible accident with happen if conditions don't change, it is much more difficult to predict exactly how the accident will effect everyone involved.

And so we sit and watch the two main factors of quiet revolution.

-Mass third world immigration.

-THe continued growth in the percentage of people employed by gov (direct or indirect) and the surge of people depending on Gov. Both of these groups will VOTE THEIR INTEREST EVERY TIME.

Q: What new demographic might worK... and why would they vote GOP?

A: Nothing that's in the current platform or in the Dem's most recent platform

I was trying to think of some 3rd party that might gain but in each case they seem to come from that same diminishing demographic.. such as the green-party, it is whiter than a No Nukes concert.

Can anyone imagine a political party that could rise up to challenge the Democrat Machine once a few more states are safely in their column?

Define who exactly that demographic is and then list the number of victims.... I mean no one "hates" without some in the group lashing out.

IF there are no victims list, I would suggest there is not very much hate involved.

I'm of the opinion that there are not enough Muslims in the country to form much of a "anti-muslim" party around... but I will wait on your numbers.

Don't be playing the innocent. I believe H.R. 347 which Obama signed into law in March of 2012 took away that excuse.

Just an announcement. I had a spare moment at work with nothing to do so it came to mind. Thought about putting it on Facebook too, but I can't access Facebook from my work's firewall.

I think he's got a point though. He actually said right out "California and New York are gone", and there is no doubt he is correct. I give California no more than 10 years before the State legislature is more than 2/3rds democrat. I'm a little worried about what it will be like here at that time quite frankly. My brother has already left.

10 years? FL is already 2/3 or better Republican (both House and Senate) and the elected executive positions are all Republicans. I don't hear Pat complaining about that.

10 years? FL is already 2/3 or better Republican (both House and Senate) and the elected executive positions are all Republicans. I don't hear Pat complaining about that.
