Still waiting for noa2 ????

Timeline

My visa journey timeline has come and gone and were still waiting for the noa 2..... What should we do? It's been almost exactly 5 months since our noa1, not sure what's going on......

12/15/2011 - last time baby & I saw her Papi

01/30/2012 - Denied entry into US

02/27/2012 - i129f sent to Dallas lockbox

02/28/2012 - i129f delivered

03/05/2012 - NOA1 email received

03/08/2012 - NOA1 hardcopy received

09/11/2012 - NOA2 email recieved

02/28/2013 - Montreal Interview -- APPROVED!!!!!

04/03/2013 - POE date!!

05/25/2013- wedding day!! <3

06/10/2013 - AOS mailed

06/10/2013 - NOA

09/09/2013 - biometrics appointment

09/16/2013 - RFE ( joint sponsor tax return issue)

Unfortunately, it's my understanding that VSC is taking 6-7 months for people to get their NOA 2 :( I hope you get yours soon! :)

04/28/12: Check for petition cleared bank account
07/23/12: NOA 2
07/27/12: Petition arrived at NVC
08/15/12: NVC Case Number received over the phone, DS3032 email sent
08/16/12: IIN assigned
08/22/12: AOS Bill Invoiced and Paid, Sent DS-3032 email again
08/24/12: DS-3032 Accepted (email received from NVC)
08/27/12: IV Bill Invoiced and Paid
08/28/12: AOS Bill Shows PAID
08/28/12: Mailed AOS Packet
08/28/12: IV Bill Shows PAID
08/28/12: Mailed IV Packet
09/07/12: AOS Packet Received and Accepted by NVC
09/05/12: IV Packet Received and Accepted by NVC
09/07/12: Case Complete
10/09/12: Medical
10/15/12: Interview! APPROVED!!
10/19/12: Visa in Hand, Delivered at 2:55pm GMT
10/20/12: POE at LAX, Flight arrives at 7:15pm
10/23/12: Went to local SSA office, applied for SSN
10/27/12: Social Security card arrived by mail
11/6/12: Green Card arrived in the mail!

I-751 Journey (Removal of Conditions)

07/23/14: Sent ROC Paperwork to CSC

07/25/14: NOA Received

07/29/14: Check for application & biometrics cleared bank

08/18/14: Biometrics Completed

Mine was touched after 5 months and 22 days so just be a bit more patient.

Manila Embassy received 9/5/12
Visa appointment & approval 9/7/12
Arrived in US 10/5/2012
Married 11/24/2012
AOS application sent 12/19/12

AOS approved 8/24/13

I check the Vsc service time frequently and last I checked it said 5 mos... But who knows.. I'm being as patient as ever and trying to keep busy so I don't go crazy.... Thanks guys...

December 18, 2023:  Filed I-90 to renew Green Card

December 21, 2023:  Production of new Green Card ordered - will be seeing USCIS again every 10 years for renewal

Just remember that 5 months is the average. Seems like there's a bit of a longer wait for NOA2's coming out of Vermont. Do yourself a favor and sign up for email updates - as soon as it's approved you'll get an email telling you! It's better than checking the site 100 times a day. :)

Timeline

Also, the VJ timeline is not necessarily the most accurate estimate. It basically gives you an average based on people who have completed their timelines, and the length of time that it takes, so you'll always see it fluctuating.

Most of us VSC February filers are still waiting, with a few NOA2s starting to file in slowly. Come join us over in that thread, if you're interested, since I see you're a Feb-March straddler :)

2011-08-28: Day I knew I wanted to spend my life with her

2012-01-21: I proposed, outside in the freezing cold!

2012-02-10: NOA1

2012-08-01: NOA2

2012-08-17: Packet 3 received (email)

2012-09-10: Packet 3 sent

2012-09-12: Packet 4 received (email) with request for 2 photos
