I have recieved an RFE and its for divorce papers that I no longer have a copy of. they have to look for them because its been a while and they said its going to take 4-6 weeks...ugg I hope they come soon, and I have searched everywhere on line to see if I can download them off the net, but no luck.....so I wait

Have you tried ex-husband? You never know. Sorry but at least when you send it you are down. And off to NVC you go.

If you got divorced in the United States then getting the papers is easy. Just go to your local Country Courthouse where your marriage would have been disolved. They can give you a brand new certified copy with a raised seal. It will not cost much either. They are as good as the real thing that was mailed to you in the first place.

Thank you everyone for your support..that's what I love about this group,you gluys are great!

I ordered it already and I wish i could go down to the court house where I got married but Im about 1500 miles away.

So I will wait and be patient again. God has defineatly shown me a great lesson thru this visa journey and that is patience.

September 10, 2009: Arrived for first meeting in-person!
June 17, 2010: Arrived for second in-person meeting and start of travel together to other areas of China!

December 8, 2010: Wedding date set; it will be on February 18, 2011!

December 18, 2023:  Filed I-90 to renew Green Card

December 21, 2023:  Production of new Green Card ordered - will be seeing USCIS again every 10 years for renewal
