Hello All...

A quick question...Does USCIS send all cases to NVC? I just filed AOS and currently in the US with my US spouse! Would my case be forwarded to NVC aswell?

Sorry...silly question!!

AOS Journey

07/27/2012 - AOS package (I-485/I-130/I-765) mailed to Chicago Location

07/30/2012 - Confirmation package received and signed for

08/02/2012 - Acceptance Confirmation for 130/765/485 via email

08/10/2012 - Biometrics appointment letter received (scheduled for 08/24/2012)

08/15/2012 - Successful biometrics walk in

09/13/2012 - Interview Notice Received (10/17/2012)

K-1 Visa Timeline AOS Timeline

- Aug 31st, 2011 - Mailed I-129F package - May 29th, 2012 - Mailed AOS/EAD/AP package

- Apr 13th, 2012 - Visa received - Aug 24th, 2012 - Green Card received

ROC Timeline

- May 19th, 2014 - Mailed ROC package to CSC

- Aug 8th, 2014 - Green Card received

N-400 Timeline

- Dec 29th, 2021 - Filed online. Got notice that biometrics will be reused.

- Now waiting...

The National Benefits Center(NBC) is where all the AOS files are sent to. The NBC and NVC are not the same thing.
