Sorry to hear that, at least they went through your file quickly and wrote it, instead of waiting five months and then sending it....oh no, that's what they did...... .... at least you know it's not in limbo anymore.

Good Luck, I'm sure you'll respond and get some much deserved attention soon!

We have a rfe because some of the information we sent in was "misplaced" by uscis so we have to send them "backup information" so it`s as well to copy everything that needs to be sent in just in case someone pulls something out and doesn`t put it back with the application.

Good luck, and I hope it goes smoothly.

says "initial" evidence ... did you possibly forget something for initial evidence? I mean, "additional" is different to "initial"

that being said, I hope it'll be quick and painless.

Here is what the message from the USCIS website says

On July 30, 2012, we mailed a notice requesting initial evidence in this case. Please follow the instructions on the notice to submit the evidence requested. Meanwhile, processing of this case is on hold until we either receive the evidence or the opportunity to submit it expires. Once you submit the evidence requested and a decision is made, you will be notified by mail. If you move while this case is pending, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address or call our customer service center at 1-800-375-5283.

Thats crazy how ya'll and my hubby got the same exact msg on the same day! Best wishes to both of us! :star:

Thank you - hopefully the RFE is something silly that I can respond to right away.
