Still not clear what the fees are the day of the interview in the Santo Domingo US Embassy.

CR1

What are they?

Do they take credit cards?

Thanks!

BEFORE the interview you will go to any banco popular with beneficiary passport and interview letter, and pay the fee ($15) or the equivalent in pesos.

The day of the interview you will not have to pay any fees. The only thing you will pay is domex (for the delivery and preparation of the passport) if and when approved. That will cost $9.50 if you pick it up at the domex office or $12.50 if you choose to have it delivered.

Cards? Nahh! In DR always carry cash!!

Hope this helps.

Ok so this is where I was confused too. Normally you pay the Banco Popular fee to get a PIN to set an appointment and we already have an appointment so this is the receipt to get us in the consulate along with our docs ets right? Sorry to be annoying but I feel so lost!! Do either of you know if we have to make a second trip to pick up the medical exam results the day before? I just want to be sure because this will mean yet another day off work for my husband. Lastly is it really $350 US?? Will these fees ever end?? The $12.50 seems so manageable in comparison! : ) Thanks in advance for listening to my babbling. Cheers!!

In our case we paid the $15 USD document processing fee (They ask for the receipt the interview day) and the $350 USD for the medical.

On the day of the interview we paid the Domex $9.50 for Santo Domingo fee (We pickup).

The medical gets delivered straight to the consulate now, no need to pickup.

Good luck! Blessings!
