Hi,

I have a question about I-130 Part D question 2.

It said: "Have you ever befoe filed a petition for this or any other alien?" YES / NO ??

my girlfriend filed I-129F from 5 years ago and we got it Denied because we never met in person and we don't really remember the date of this filing.what i'm supposed to write in the date area.

Also would this Denial affect my case right now ? . i'm adjusting from B2 after marrying her.

The correct answer would be 'yes' on the form. Your current application will be considered on its own merit so that denial may come up during an interview but fact is that you love each other enough to get married anyway. That was then, this is now.

Agree with what Gegel said above.

Also, maybe you could try to contact USCIS to find out the last filing date, as they probably have a record of your application even if it's denied.
