I don't know of any business Obama has run.

"I want to take this opportunity to mention how thankful I am for an Obama re-election. The choice was clear. We cannot live in a country that treats homosexuals and women as second class citizens. Homosexuals deserve all of the rights and benefits of marriage that heterosexuals receive. Women deserve to be treated with respect and their salaries should not depend on their gender, but their quality of work. I am also thankful that the great, progressive state of California once again voted for the correct President. America is moving forward, and the direction is a positive one."

Our $15 trillion economy with over 155 million workers is pretty much on autopilot (you can't really blame or give credit to 1 person).

But, under Obama's EXCELLENT leadership we went from losing 800,000 jobs a month on average for six straight months (see NOV 08 to MAR 09).

Also note 25 straight months of job loss, starting in FEB 2008 (I'm sure Obama is to blame for this though, right?):

nAwWT.png

And a GDP that contracted by almost 10% in Bush's last quarter as president (could you imagine if under Obama our economy contracted like that, there would be so much outrage! Luckily we have had nonstop economic growth under his EXCELLENT leadership!):

1.1-GDP-change-OPT.jpg

Back to your question. The economy (not sure who is to be credited, I don't think you can credit 1 person?) has added private jobs for 28 straight months (29 if you count July '12).

A staggering 4.4 million private sector jobs since February 2010 (a pace of 156,000 jobs a month).

The public sector has not been so lucky. Gov't work has shrunk drastically. 528,000 government jobs have been slashed in the last couple years.

So, are you saying that Dan Cathy created more than 4.4 million jobs since February 2010?

So if what you maintain is true, no one person can be blamed for the economy, then the excuse of the current admin blaming Bush is not valid correct ?

And P.S. we all know Obama economy has been awful. You can't bend a few statics out of context and expect anyone to take you seriously.. We have more people on food stamps and more poverty than anytime in modern American history.. The national debt has exploded.

Ya, it has gone up a couple tril.

The president was Bush when the 2009 budget was passed. So if you want to blame presidents then the deficit of 2009 ($1.2 trillion) was under Bush.

You can start the debt clock at October 1st, 2009 which is day 1 of fiscal year 2010.

OCT 1st, 2009: U.S. Begins Fiscal Year $11,776,112,848,656.17 in Debt

So which is it. The economy is great under Obama or it's Bush's fault.. Can't have it both ways.. Your final answer is...... My guess is Bush's fault that is the answer of last resort most liberals use when they are out of facts.

So who has put more people to work in America and helped them out of poverty. Dan Cathy or Obama..

Obama has, of course.

According to its website, Chick Fil A has 600 corporate employees and about 6100 employees altogether.

Their annual salary for a 40 hour week comes to, before taxes, according to glassdoor.com

Team Member - $ 15,712Cashier - $15,371Drive thru cashier - $ 15,900Tem leader - $ 19,073Shift supvr - $ 22,297Supervisor - $ 22,318Manager - $ 30,160

6100 jobs in 66 years averages 92 jobs a year. Many of the above salaries would still be under the poverty line.

You libs say the funniest things...

Incidentally, Apple employs more people than Chick Fil A, as does Google and StarBucks.. We should have elected Steve Jobs for president. On a Positive note, Wozniak is still alive...

The question we need to ask is "Has Chick Fil A created more jobs than President George W. Bush?"

Considering that thanks to liberals women were afforded the right to vote, equal pay; and blacks were no longer subjected to Jim Crow laws, it would seem that no defense is required.

Incidentally, Steve Jobs created more jobs than Dan Cathy. My point being your posts are evidence you're more intelligent than that and able to make a sound argument with a better foundation. I mean this as a compliment.

Have you ever crunched the numbers and compared stats on how the economy performs under a Republican vs. Democrat president?

If social issues are your biggest concern then vote Republican. If you want a better economy, less debt, smaller deficits and possibly surpluses, stronger middle class, job growth, stock market performance, etc., vote Democrat!
