As does most every President. They all have scripts and when they're thrown curve balls they most always hit the dirt. The only President I can remember who seemed immune to that was Reagan, but I attribute most of that to his being an actor.

Fortunately for us, however homely you may deem her to be, she can still perform brilliantly as Secy of State, which is really no different than Condi Rice. She was homely, unattractive even, but a brilliant woman, great Secy of State and a fine American. I'll take homely and bright over dumb any day of the week, when it comes to politics.

Call it what you will, I'm not the one who made the reference, I was just explaining to num nuts what I thought the poster meant. He seems to want to argue the way I understood the post as it was written. Here's the post in question, what do you think he/she meant?

Case in point. Calling someone num nuts is an attempt to insult. I'm not offended by it because my nuts are not 'num', however spelling numb wrong is only insulting to the intelligence ;-)

What I have trouble understanding with all this is that everyone seems to use sexual orientation as a qualifier in unwarranted situations. Shouldn't we all enforce the 'keep your sex life to yourself' mantra repeated by the finges of our fundamentalist political wings?

I don't see how it would be pertinent to introduce someone in addition to such a qualifier.
