I-751 - Do we have enough evidence?

Hi,

So my wife (the immigrant) and I forgot about the removing conditions / I-751 until earlier today. We don't have much time until it needs to be filed. This is the proof that we've been able to gather together. Do you think we have enough or should we keep looking for more?

- Tax statements that show we jointly own a house - 2010 through 2012

- Several statements for joint checking and savings accounts

- Joint tax forms from 2010 and 2011

- Joint car insurance

- Health insurance card with both names

- Both our driver's licenses with the same address

Additionally, I am going to collect the following information still:

- Our son's birth certificate

- Photos

Does this seem like enough? I'm trying to think what else we have. I could probably come up with some life insurance forms showing my wife as the beneficiary too.

Thanks.

I think it looks quite good. If you can include life insurance forms with your wife listed as your beneficiary (you mention you might be able to get that), that is a good idea. And perhaps any utility bills that you have which shows both your names and of course, your address, might be something you could add.

Good luck to you and your wife. :)

You need to include a copy front and back of GC and passport cover pages from both of you.. Also drivers license copies of both of you for address prove... Credit cards jointly held if any....

Thanks for the advice. I'll find the life insurance forms. Not sure if I'll have any utility bills with my wife's name though. Perhaps, I should switch those over to both of our names, but probably too late for that for the present purposes. Same with loans--mostly just in my name. Her credit is just getting started, while I have excellent credit. Adding her to the car loans wouldn't have helped with the interest rate. I saw no positives to making us both legally responsible if just I could be. I guess she is POD on the cars though, so that might be further helpful evidence if I can get the deed (and the house as I said is also in her name).

I already have the green card and driver's licenses. I guess I'll add the passports too. I'll check on if there are any jointly held credit cards. I think we both just have our own though, although she's an authorized user on my mine, so I might be able to show that. Thinking about it though, I don't think that shows up on the bills, and I'm definitely not providing the U.S. government with a photo of the cards showing both our names. :)

Maybe I need to check this board more, but it seems like this whole process has been quite easier and quicker than I expected. (Something to do with the change of administrations?) We got the K-1 visa and then initial green card both pretty quickly and with providing much less evidence than often recommended on these boards, and the second without an interview, so hopefully that will be the case again.

Good luck to others in our same position reading this post.
