Hello, me and my fiancé are filling the forms for the k1 visa. I am filling now the g325a and I have some questions.

1. Should I fill it with capitals or it doesn't matter?

2. About the employment section, should I fill it chronologically because I have been 1 year unemployed in between.

3. Should I include the contracts or some evidence where I worked?

Thank you

1. doesn't matter. jut do not leave any lines blank. if N/A put N/A

2. pretty much chronologically is the preferred method when filling out any application. Keeps a logical flow.

3. if it doesn't ask for it, then don't add it.

Make sure to keep copies of everything you send in. Keep all of it until you get your green card. A lot of this they will be asking again when you apply for adjustment of status.

Thank you!

Oh and one more question. In the employment section again, I worked 2012 but not 2011 should I put none-unemployed and then continue with 2010?

Absolutely. You need to show a complete timeline for the last 3-5 years. i.e. if you were a student , state so for that timeframe. If unemployed, then say so. Don't want to hide anything from the government. They already know anyhow

P.S. Are you the USC (petitioner) or the beneficiary?

I am the beneficiary. I live in Germany and my fiancee in the US. We are about to file the papers this week. I need to send him the g325a and do I need to send birth certificate and copies of my passport as well?

No not yet. Well did he visit you or did you visit him? If you visited him, then you need to send your passport copies to show the entry stamps to help fulfill the proof of meeting face to face within last 2 years. If he visited you, then your passport copies are not needed right now.

You will need your information when you apply for the K1. That part will happen in Germany and at the consulate there. Remember, this is a 2 step process. This first part is petitioning for the ability to apply for the K1. Once approved, then comes the emphasis on you(when you apply for K1).

I am a proponent of having the checklist in front of you while assembling the package. That way you know you have fulfilled all the necessary requirements and paperwork. Do not leave any lines blank. Put "N/A" instead or "None". If you have any other specific questions, feel free to message me. If I don't know, I will tell you so

I visited him twice and now I am waiting for him to visit me. We printed the checklist and we do this step by step. Thank you for your help.

Remember, the biggest part of the K1 is proving that you 2 have met face to face within the last 2 years. So, your entry stamps into the US from your passport. (make copy of entire passport, even blank pages). Boarding passes of flight if you still have them. Pictures of you together during the time you were here. etc.... Itineraries don't count.

We printed the checklist also. double and triple checked. it must have helped as we had no RFE.

People say you can't make this process go faster. That may be true, but you sure can make it go slower by not following the directions :bonk:

Good luck...

So my fiancé has another question. He didn't have a passport until now and he applied for one to come and visit me. Now we are about to send the I-129f and it says to provide them copies of his passport... What should he do? His passport will be ready in 4 weeks and it will be empty. He is the Petitioner

He doesn't have to give that. He has to give a copy of his birth certificate OR copies of his passport pages.

Since you visited him, you will need to send him copy of all pages of your passport. This will be part of the proof of meeting in person in the last 2 years. Make sure you go over that part real well.

So we gathered everything but I have a question before we send it. The g-325 form on the end it says sign and date. The date on PDF form was small and we couldn't fill it so I did it with blue pen and signed it. I also wrote with pen my Greek name too where it says fill your name in native language. Is that ok?
