Of course Progressive does not make a point about being Christian, because they are not.. They are very vocal liberals to the other extreme. That is they whole point., Liberals only think it's a big deal when it's a viewpoint other than theirs.

The company does not make a point of any political or religious affiliation, even if its shareholders do. Chick-Fil-A makes it very public that they consider themselves a Christian company. They will take flak for it.

IA lot of us find it repulsive and against nature.

Many feel the same way about interracial marriages, or wearing white after labor day, or tattoos, or divorce or driving on the Shabbat.

I liked Christianity better before it became a political party.

The problem is that they claim to be a Christian company but they are not. The employ and provide benefits for divorces and divorcees.

I don't see what the big deal is. A Christian owned company is against homosexuality. The Holy Bible is clear on God's perception of homosexuality so this only makes sense that a Christian owned company doesn't support two men buggering each other. I'm not a Christian per say and I don't agree with two men buggering each other either. A lot of us find it repulsive and against nature.

Could you define "us"?

But on the other hand I have no objection to two non trucker type lesbians having a go at it.

And that's my point exactly. You should be able to have an opinion in thsi country without Govt officials saying they will use their elected power to retaliate against you. If I was Dictator tomorrow, gays would automaticly get equal protection under the law, to include marriage rights and the Mayors and elected officials trying to ban chick-fil-a would be out of office.

Agreed. As I said before, let Chick Fil A do its thing and let consumers vote with their wallets. They aren't breaking any laws or anything and living in a democracy is about not agreeing all the time.

Why did they lie about the Jim Henson Foundation toys? Christians shouldn't lie, especially not to keep their business profitable. You have dodged this question over and over.

It's always funny when you talk about the Bible.

Especially when you put "Holy" in front of the word.

"I want to take this opportunity to mention how thankful I am for an Obama re-election. The choice was clear. We cannot live in a country that treats homosexuals and women as second class citizens. Homosexuals deserve all of the rights and benefits of marriage that heterosexuals receive. Women deserve to be treated with respect and their salaries should not depend on their gender, but their quality of work. I am also thankful that the great, progressive state of California once again voted for the correct President. America is moving forward, and the direction is a positive one."

I think you missed the point. You don't profess to be a Christian and yet you keep referring to the Bible in argument. It comes off as silly as me referring back to the Book of Mormon.

Is the owner of Chick-Fil-A Christian? Why yes!

Not true. He professed to be Christian but his company employs divorces and divorcees and extend benefits to their concubines. They also employ adulterers and fornicators.

It gives the expression Holy ####### a whole new meaning! rofl.gifrofl.gifrofl.gifrofl.gif

Yes, but these Chick-Fil-A threads aren't the first place you've referrred to the Bible to make a point. It's a little weird. I almost expect you to whip out the Quranic verses next.

I can't think of any other instances off the top of my head where there was a situation like this. I mean a Christian company comes out against homosexuality which is normal for a Christian, and libs come unglued.

It would be like the NCAAP coming out for Affirmative Action. Where's the big deal?

You referred to the Bible a lot in the Ukraine homosexuality thread too.

Which is fine, but just weird seeing how you're not actually Christian.
