Dear VJs, it has been ridiculous that VSC has been huge delayed in processing K1 Visa while its official website still posting the normal processing time of 5 months. I am pretty sure there are hundreds of ppl have been waiting for more than 5 months. I would suggest that we petitioners unite together to write a letter to USCIS director Alejandro Mayorkas and ask USCIS for an official explanation of the huge delay at VSC, and they need to provide an appropriate solution to catch up. It is not fair that they are ruining and messing up our life without a clear statement. We cannot just sitting here in an endless waiting.

The 5 months is just their goal not anything that is written in stone. You have to realize that the VJ community is just a small percent of the Visa petitions that are processed. So if some get adjudicated under 5 months and some fall after it all balances out. Yes we have heard VSC is back logged. We at NVC are finding that painfully clear.

Even though I got NOA2 June 29 after 3 months and 1 week I been sitting at CSC since than. Just found out yesterday and an expedite now has been requested to send my case to NVC so a month after approval finally I am being sent where others approved before me are waiting for interviews.

All you can do is wait and after 6 months you can request a service request to see what is going on.

FWIW, it may simply be that the Adjudicators are not tasked at 100 percent for I-129F adjudication.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

So even with all that your still a little under 5 months...

I agree.

as do I. But 194 days this Monday with no end in sight is getting concerning. It's a nightmare. I can't understand why this is being done to us all. There's absolutely no accountability and very little effort to communicate consistent information to those that have filed petitions. I've never seen anything like this anytime or anywhere. They have a way to stall or deflect any attempt to get answers or move this process along. It's like our petitions are a big joke, and they don't care. It's very depressing. They won't even let us do service requests at VSC. It took them 1.5 months just to move the processing date ahead 1 week..

VSC is totally messed up and the only solution is to open a new service center and then promptly close VSC.

I encourage everyone to write their elected Representatives and Senators suggesting that VSC be closed.

There are just too many things wrongs with VSC to do anything other than close it.

It should never have been opened in its present location.

I would also argue that Family immigration matters concerning spouses, children, etc....are a basic human right and trump any man made law.

And certainly after paying such high fees, I expect some timely service....prompt and courteous service.

I don't work for those jack leg inbred fools; Unfortunately, I pay their salaries and they work for me.

Yes. They seem to answer to no one. And apparently could care less about the pain inflicted on those who are separated from the person they love. I had very humble expectations and honestly an approval by the end of July would have even been okay. But now it's not even looking like that's going to happen. Approaching 200 days and it seems like it's become Vermont Sadistic Center with this kind of torture. It's the worst experience I've ever had with a service that I actually had to pay for..I have not ever had to interact with a company, agency, or other venue that does this to people...

I called them today morning and did as suggested by you. I got the same reply as i got earlier, that they do not have the specifics and call after 60 days are over (5th September), only thing additional she told that she can read the comments that additional review is required.. thats it. I didnt get to know anything more about it. So finally i have to wait for 60 days and then call them again (if i dont get NOA2 by then) as suggested by them

Why doesn't someone draft a standard complaint letter to their elected official that we all can use and tweak to our preference?
