"I want to take this opportunity to mention how thankful I am for an Obama re-election. The choice was clear. We cannot live in a country that treats homosexuals and women as second class citizens. Homosexuals deserve all of the rights and benefits of marriage that heterosexuals receive. Women deserve to be treated with respect and their salaries should not depend on their gender, but their quality of work. I am also thankful that the great, progressive state of California once again voted for the correct President. America is moving forward, and the direction is a positive one."

How is this interesting? It's just random babble.

It's random babble to you because your truth receiver is broken.

It's interesting because it provides the personal perspective of a person who actually comes from a poor country - a real poor country, where poverty is nothing like poverty in America. Where people don't have unemployment benefits, welfare, social security, or medicare. Where more than a quarter of the population lives on less than a dollar a day.

And yet somehow she doesn't seem to think that the ID requirement is discriminatory.

What's even more interesting is that after 9 months here, she has figured out that America can not sustain itself at the rate it's going. Just today she asked me how the goverment could be giving money to people that had cars, Air conditioning, and nice Tv's because surely they are not really poor.

What is interesting about comparing apples and oranges? You're good at comparing those.

Do they have a constitution that protects voters rights? Do they have minorities that vote for the left, that the right are trying to prevent from voting by introducing these rules? It's totally irrelevant to the situation here. I could talk about the healthcare system in the UK ( which you compared to communism  ) but it doesn't bare any relevance on this country.

Well so much for your do they have a Constitution that protect voters rights. :bonk::bonk: Shocking similar to ours huh ?

THE 1987 CONSTITUTION

OF THE

REPUBLIC OF THE PHILIPPINES

ARTICLE V

SUFFRAGE

Section 1. Suffrage may be exercised by all citizens of the Philippines not otherwise disqualified by law, who are at least eighteen years of age, and who shall have resided in the Philippines for at least one year, and in the place wherein they propose to vote, for at least six months immediately preceding the election. No literacy, property, or other substantive requirement shall be imposed on the exercise of suffrage. Section 2. The Congress shall provide a system for securing the secrecy and sanctity of the ballot as well as a system for absentee voting by qualified Filipinos abroad.cralaw

The Congress shall also design a procedure for the disabled and the illiterates to vote without the assistance of other persons. Until then, they shall be allowed to vote under existing laws and such rules as the Commission on Elections may promulgate to protect the secrecy of the ballot.

Do they have people who would benefit from voter fraud? Gee, what an insightful question. All countries do.

You lied when you said I compared the NHS to communism. Never happened.

You then corrected yourself and claimed that I had compared Medicare to communism. Still never happened.

You're still lying.

You did. You have a bad memory.

Who mentioned voter fraud? Read what I said very carefully, think about it for a minute, then try and think of some abusive reply about how I'm unemployable and stupid.

Lucky for you, this site has a search function. Feel free to use it and provide a link to the quote in question.

You do it. I know you did it, I don't need to search for it. It was such a ridiculous thing to say, how could I forget it?

Don't address my question though. Smoke and mirrors.

I'm not trolling. Clearly you don't know what real "trolling" is.

I don't appreciate being called a liar, or unemployable or stupid or honey or any of the other ####### you come out with. Keep the abuse to yourself

You don't appreciate being called a liar, don't lie.

You lied about my comparing Medicare to communism. You can't prove it, because it never happened, yet you still keep lying and claiming it did.

Liar.

Liar.

You did. What you don't realize is I don't care what you think you know so you can keep this up but all it does is make you more mad.

Her- Why ? In the Philippines even the poorest of the poor showed ID when voting and when put dye on their fingertip to prevent them voting again. When they registered to vote we took their picture and we checked it when they came in against their ID.

So your wife worked at the COMELEC. Does she know why after I registered to vote in April 2009 in Cebu City someone said that my voter's ID would be mailed to me three years later in my Philippine address? My husband and I visited the PH in May this year and my ID has not yet arrived in my parents' house. unsure.gif I'm also wondering how the votes of people who were long dead get counted and why the crooks can easily get away with that and do it again.
