Hello fellow VJ'ers,

My contribution to the forum so far was to show the latest and greatest forms that you receive during your CR1/IR1 DCF London process.

Partly because:

  • I could not see them on the forum (latest embassy forms).
  • I have a scanner - so why not use it.
  • I get confused easily if I don't "see" the problem/challenge/expectation.

The last one for this part of the journey arrived this morning....i.e packet 4. Once again, as stated before on this forum it's only a letter, nothing more, nothing less.

Packet4Masked.jpg

I have one more question before we go over to the embassy on Thursday.

I have made copies of all the "documents" i.e marriage/police/birth certificates, but not of the "forms" DS-230 part II/I-846 etc. Surely they just take the "forms" and keep them or do they REALLY need another copy of all the forms.

I would appreciate someone that has actually completed this part to answer that, not someone that speculates about it.

You should bring a copy of everything with you. Everything -- including the I-864, the DS-230, etc. When we were up at the counter they asked if we had an original and a copy of everything including the forms, even though obviously they only took the original. In any event, you'll want copies for your own records. Better overprepared than under in this process!
