I just notice that when I got the cashiers check from my bank I got my name on it and just added the beneficiary's name on it by pen.

So it looks like this:

petitioner's name / beneficiary's name

will they accept it like that? I mean we just got married now she's my wife I think is ok to have a check or cashiers check with both of our names ah?

please advice! :-)

No i don't think it's okay to alter a cashiers check. Ask a bank.

My bank said it was ok to add more info on it. the question is if that USCIS would care about it.

My bank will honor the check, so I think it should be ok ah? on the usps cashiers checks we have to write on it too.

Why would you though? her name doesn't need to be on it. Seems like a lot of stress for no reason. But having already done it, if your bank said it was okay, then that's all that matters right?
