Okay, let me get this straight....

Free market forces that drive up gun purchases after mass theatre shootings -- GOOD.

Free market forces that cost right-wing bigots customers due to public awareness of their rabid anti-gayness -- BAD.

Oh look, more ignorance from a resident moonbat.

Where did Chick-Fil-A say anything disparaging or act like a "bigot" towards anyone?

Please, point it out. I DARE you to. Because if you knew the original circumstances behind all of this 'outrage' you'd know they didn't disparage any group at all or come out against anyone.

Come on now Paul. Don't be doing anything crazy like bringing actual facts into the convo. The libs on here are going to go nuts...well more nuttier than usual that is.

"I want to take this opportunity to mention how thankful I am for an Obama re-election. The choice was clear. We cannot live in a country that treats homosexuals and women as second class citizens. Homosexuals deserve all of the rights and benefits of marriage that heterosexuals receive. Women deserve to be treated with respect and their salaries should not depend on their gender, but their quality of work. I am also thankful that the great, progressive state of California once again voted for the correct President. America is moving forward, and the direction is a positive one."

freude.
Some of us had to deal with the freude-prevention officer at the consulate, gee man.

06-04-2007 = TSC stamps postal return-receipt for I-129f.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

You are confused oh sacred moonbat... LOL Both of those things are good, because they are a sign of people making up their own minds about their own personal choices and beliefs. If Chick-Fil-A goes out of business for their comments or thrives, it's a clear sign of FREEDOM of the people to act on beliefs without our government forcing their version of some politically correct mandate down our throats.

Moonbat?

FIrst she's the resident one, and now she's the sacred one?

hmmmmm...

is that sorta like the head llama at the temple, both resident and sacred?

If that's the case, perhaps you should pay attention to her, instead of lambasting her...

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

In my culture Moonbat is a term of respect and endearment.. you are being culturally insensitive.

I asked you about the facts previously, you ignored it. You don't like facts apparently. :P

Private Christian owned business that voices their opinion on homosexuality = BAD ???? (even though the Bible is clear on that subject)

If this was the case, why did Chick-Fil-A lie and release a statement saying the Jim Henson toys were being withdrawn because of safety issues? Anyone who reads the news knows that the Jim Henson foundation pulled the toys before this fake announcement. Shouldn't they be standing by their values rather than lying? That isn't very Christian of them.

If you had bothered to read what I wrote later, you might have noticed that I agree with customers voting with their feet. However, what I have seen from the right (in general, but not without exception) is lambasting of those who support marriage equality choosing to boycott CFA, but supporting those who choose to stockpile weapons in the wake of what happened last week because (as you know) the gubmint is going to take everyone's weapons away very soon. It's inconsistency at best, hypocrisy at medium, and idiocy at worst. I may not agree that citizens should create arsenals of high-powered weaponry, but if it is legal, all I can do is criticize the choice to do so. I can't criticize the legality. I also oppose the buffoonery of the city officials calling to expel CFA from their cities.

And really, aren't you the little follower with the moonbat moniker? I've never been called that before on here, Paul calls me that and then you pick up the baton? Do try to be a little more clever. Anyway, everyone knows Steven's the moonbat around these parts, not me.
