Good Afternoon VJ Members,

I post this since i have yet to find the IR-1/CR-1 July Filers thead. To those who filed for their Spouse this month please post your NOA1 Date and update your timeline. Let the journey begging.

My NOA1 Date was July 23rd, 2012

Remember that "patience is the art of hoping" we will need lots of it throughout this process.

I hope VSC picks up the pace and catches up to CSC.

How did you get approved so fast? VSC skipped all of the of April filers. Is this your second time applying or something?

Its our first time applying.I guess its because we both live in Cyprus (US Petitioner living abroad) ===> http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/357465-usc-petitioner-living-abroad/. According to the survey, US Petitioners living abroad with their spouses get Auto-expedite Process.

Also,we requested an expedite for medical reasons, but I don't know if it had to do with it or not. We did not hear anything about it from the service center.

You filed in April, I don't think its going to take much longer, good luck to you.

Together 0515 did you get a NOA2 by email yet? I still haven´t and the USCIS page has August 6th as my approval date...I got m NOA1 email no prob....

Yes we did.Did you file the e-notification form? to make sure,go to their Website, create an account, add your case number to your Portfolio and check the status of email or text notification.

But generally,if when you check your case status and its on Post-decision Activity with the mention "we approved your I-130",then your petition is approved, congratulations :) .Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Did you file the e-notification form?

Yeah...the weird thing is that they emailed me to notify that they recieved it with my case number and everything. In fact, I still haven´t gotten the physical NOA1 yet because I am abroad.

and yes, it said it had been approved :) anyway, i made an account...they monitor your keystrokes...creepy

Oh yes they do! That creeped me out too! We have been checking every couple of hours, Im sure we are on a very special list

What I wonder now is how do we know when our case hits the NVC? Also, I don't think in our case(living abroad), we're going to be mailed anything.
