That's what my wife was told today when she called to find out about my interview date. I just hope it won't be late September, as my wife will be about the stage in her pregnancy when it's not recommended to fly. She wants to be here during the time of my interview.

Thank you. :)

I didn't know I could call the embassy. I always thought I had to wait on NVC to schedule the interview.

You can't speed-up the NVC scheduling interviews. They always schedule all competed cases for interviews during the second week of each month.

As the other VJer said once you have your interview scheduled you can always call the Embassy directly and request an earlier interview. You should wait a couple of weeks though as they won't be albe to do anything until they receive your physical casefile and have it logged into their system at the Embassy.

They ALWAYS say that, but that is NOT always the case!~

There have been plenty of members who have gotten their interviews scheduled at all times of the month.

Once the date is set, ask them what EXACT day the case was sent to Kingston and I can help you track it through DHL :yes:

Well, my wife is due to give them a call by next week, so we'll see how it goes.
