Form I-765 (OPT to GC)

Hi,

First of all, thank you for all the members and moderators for contributing and sharing valuable information on the VisaJourney forum. The forum has been of great help to me.

My Status: I am currently on OPT and working on my 1 year OPT EAD. I entered the US on a Student F-1 visa. I got married to a USC recently and we are planning to file for my AOS along with I-765 form.

I have a question regarding form I-765. Given my case above what should I select for point 16 in the application? I couldn't find similar question on the forum when I searched.

Well, I am not sure what Q 16 is off the top of my head (it helps to say the question) but I imagine the answer is "permission to accept," or C9.

Thanks Harpa for your reply. The Q16 is "Go to Part 2 of the instructions, Eligibility Categories. In the space below, place the letter and number of the category you selected from the instructions." So what essentially I am asking is what category I will be selecting.
