I think it depends on the service center. It seems that a lot of people are saying that CSC is not sending the information to the NVC immediately instead they are holding them to send a bulk of them. My service center was VSC and I was approved on 7/5/2012 and they received it at the NVC on 7/9/2012. You can always call it doesn't hurt just checking up on things. Wishing you much luck in your visa journey. :)

Does anyone know how long it takes for NOA2 to reach NVC? I receved text for noa2 was mailed July 25. Can i call NVC today or next week?

From California Service Center....the time to reach NVC is between 5 and 35 days.....they do mail in bulk. I have a friend here now is at 30 days and still waiting to be received at NVC.

If you're lucky, your petition will be sent to NVC right away and it will be in their system within 10 business days. However, if you're like me, it will sit in a mailroom for four weeks before being sent to NVC. I would give it more than a couple of days before calling, though. Their standard response will be to wait 10-15 business days.

i guess thats sad. 4 weeks at CSc after approval? then another two weeks at NVC? thats roughly 2 months after NOA2 to get to embassy. that takes me to september i guess.

You should be happy....I would love to have that timeline.....for IR-1/CR-1 I am looking at about 3 months from NOA2 to finish at NVC.
