Hey all!

Couple of questions if you could please.

1. For the affidavidt of support, my mother is sponsoring us, do i need to fill out the I-34 and she does, or just her?

2.Also, what is the I-864 form? Does my mom have to fill that out as well?

3. Lastly, it says there is a section 2 on the affidavidt to get a list of some supporting evidence, but I didn't see a section 2 on e form. Am I missing something? lol

Any help would be greatly appreciated! I wanna get these forms done early so we can get them in ASAP! Thanks again guys!

Hey all!

Couple of questions if you could please.

1. For the affidavidt of support, my mother is sponsoring us, do i need to fill out the I-34 and she does, or just her? both

2.Also, what is the I-864 form? This is like I-134 but legally binding and used at the AOS stage. Does my mom have to fill that out as well? It is a good idea for a cosponsor to fill out I-864 along with I-134 since I-864 will be considered at the AOS stage.

3. Lastly, it says there is a section 2 on the affidavidt to get a list of some supporting evidence, but I didn't see a section 2 on e form. Am I missing something? lol I'm not seeing the complete question here, but supporting evidence is needed for both I-134 and I-864.

Any help would be greatly appreciated! I wanna get these forms done early so we can get them in ASAP! Thanks again guys!

Thank u! I just want to know what types of supporting evidence we need for both and how much?

4.I-134 Affidavit of Support form. Ensure it is signed, with all required supporting evidence. Begin collecting the required information ahead of time, as it can often take several weeks to collect it all.

5.You will likely need at a minimum (for the above form) two to three of your most recent pay stubs and a signed letter from your employer listing you job title, start date, your salary, and the status (full-time) of your position. Begin collecting these ASAP after your NOA2 arrives. You will also probably want to include other evidence such as your banking information and other assets as required by the I-134. Specifically you will need at least 2 of the 4 options mentioned in Section II-Supporting Evidence of the I-134. See this FAQ for more tips and ueful information on the Affidavit of Support Form.

-from the K-1 Guide

Pay stubs(4-8 weeks worth), tax return transcripts, bank statements listing total deposits, employer letter....these are all acceptable proofs of income.
