AOS and IV BILL!!!!

Hey vj fam..can anyone provide and idea of how long it takes to start receiving the notification to pay IV bill and AOS. I received my case number last night and just curious how long will it take. Thanks again for all responses.

i got my nvc number july 13 and we got AOS bill July 19. Then the IV july 25.

About 5 days to a week. Of course you call they will say 20 days. But I told them to hold all your processing and wait for me. LOL. Just think you will be soon soon in Jamaica getting your baby. hehe my bad.

:rofl: You probably will end up catching me. You know how they like to play games make you think you are moving along fast and then the next step takes forever. But 20 days to get the bill would be crazy. They would get tired of me calling them. I like blueblink's answer of the 12 days. I'll take 12 days or less Alex (Jeopardy) for $100. :rofl:

It took 1 day from putting our case on to the NVC system, for them to invoice us for our AOS bill and longer for our IV bill, so I guess the best advice I can give you is to keep checking.

Checking for me is an understatement... I have my email opened right now checking to see if i get anything. I keep hitting refresh. I am going to go crazy do this I know. I just don't want to waste a minute of time responding to anything. And I know that sounds crazy just missing the hubbie so much I don't know what to do.

I understand that the wait seems like an eternity. And I completely understand how it feels to miss your hubby so much. I guess you have to stick with Skype and the phone until you can next meet in person. Let us all at VJ know how your case progresses and we'll do our best to answer any questions.

Once a NVC case number is assigned the AOS fee is generated right away. However, before the IV fee is generated you do need to send the DS 3032 choice of agent form. You will need the NVC Case number and Invoice number to log in and pay. Once you pay it takes 1-2 days for it to show as PAID.

MAke sure and print both AOS and IV bar coded cover sheets. GOOD LUCK!!!

Should be super easy, just hit 5 when you call to be transfered to a human being, tell them you have a case number and need the invoice number. It was actually the operator I asked to clarify the next step, she told me the AOS bill could be paid right away BEFORE sending the DS 3032

You will also want to provide them with the petitioner and beneficiary´s email.

ohhh and emailing the DS 3032, takes about a week to process and then you should recieve an email, although I would just keep checking online ot see if the IV fee has been generated:) After you pay and print your ready for the next step. Dont wait for the packets, all the forms and instructions can be found online.
