Nov 27, 2007 Three year Annivrsary. Two more and I can apply for a Jordanian Passport, and then we're going to Cuba (Just because I can). can't wait...

Congratulations.. If only I could get in touch with the consulate on monday maybe they will tell me my husband's interview is also on the 20th of November. I have a feeling it is since it went out with sonicliz. Then I think there will be 4 of us on that day. :D

Only took them two days to respond to my email...cool didnt have to call them on the phone. Our interview date is Nov. 20 at 8am. We are so excited!!

I am posting this here since it relates to a K1. I noticed on the application for the fiance visa itself, in addition to several other pieces of info, they ask for proof of engagement. What did others of you attach to that form? Pictures from engagement party? Wedding plans??

We didn't have an engagement party, and we still hadn't bought engagement rings... but we did have the affidavit of intention to marry so maybe that is what they mean?

We sent our Islamic marriage contract, pictures, a letter from me and proof of our meeting.

Sometime in 2008 - Received 10 year GC. Almost done with USCIS for life inshaAllah! Huzzah!

02/23/09 - Apply for citizenship

06/15/09 - Citizenship interview

07/15/09 - Citizenship ceremony. Alhamdulilah, the US now has another american muslim!
