Yes, because the policy is a person cannot request an inquiry on their case until 5 months and 15 days has passed. So if you filed in early April that would put you at the first or second week of October for being eligible for an inquiry request via USCIS.

Anyone hear anything yet?? I wouldve thought the early april filers (those with PD's within the 1st week) wouldve heard something by now

I was just corresponding with someone on how quiet it's been on this forum. It appears that VSC has begun making determinations on some March 2012 1-130 applications so I would guess that April filers will start to hear something by mid-September. And have interviews as early as December 2012 scheduled.

I was able to get a service request 3 weeks ago and got an email a week later saying that i should hear somthing within 60 days . I have not contacted my senator yet .

You need to now request to speak to a manager, I think they call them level 2 supervisors, but 'm sure you'll hear something soon. Also the letter you received is standard language. You want to call and make sure that you speak to someone who can tell you whether or not your case is in the reviewing stage. Good luck.

I filed the I-130 with the VSC and have a priority date of 4/2/12. It hasn't been "touched" since then. The wait is frustrating, but it is good to know other people haven't heard anything either. I also wonder if we'll get a RFE, interview, etc, or if it'll just be approved.

when you look at the USCIS Vermont I-130 Imm Rel trend Chart, they are approving cases from April to May, why then those of us from first week of April have not heard anything yet, but they are approving cases of May,...this is really a nightmare and faustration. please Vermont approve my case this week and i will say Thank you. May God help us all.

I do not see where they even tell you which months are being approved.

I think it only shows the number of apps approved/were pending/rfe'd/received in those months. It doesn't show which months are being approved. At least, not as far as I can tell. Maybe you could point me in the direction of where you were looking to see which months were being approved.

That is clear and easy to see, just look at the buttom line of the chart it tells you the Months and year been approved if Im not mistaken.

I think you are mistaken. I believe the charts only show how many were approved that month or were pending that month. I do not believe it shows which months those applications were from/filed.

I think you might be RIGHT, anyway we just hoping for them to approve our cases is taking sooo long why why.

I've been looking at March's and it seems some are getting approved from March. So you guys are almost there I think. Crossing my fingers for you!
