Include my husband and myself as one more couple who are waiting. Filed in May. Sent to the Vermont Service Center. I made an inquiry and they said it can be another 60 days. Why are so many people getting approved and others being left behind?

the reason is you filed before August and got sent to Vermont which is one of slowest places. People that filed later were sent to NBC and completed in a couple of months.

10/30/2012 - Sent I-130
11/06/2012 - NOA1
12/29/2012 - NOA2 (53 days)

2/4/2013 - NVC received
2/22/2013 - Case number/IIN
10/2/2013 - Case Completed at NVC
xx/xx/2013 - Interview scheduled

We do understand what you are talking about in terms of why some people who got approved because they filed After September and files are being processed at NBC. However, wouldn't the USCIS be little more cautious and be like, " Lets forward the filers who came in Earlier to the NBC, so that at least things are in some what of an order". I guess they don't care in the first come first serve.

Exactly! Why did not they send the earlier filers to NBC? You are right! USCIS not only cares nothing for the "first come, first serve" concept; THEY DON"T CARE, Period!
