Well, there must me something wrong with either I or my wife because our case is very simple and has no complications. I have submitted all the required documents and I still have not heard anything after 7 months! I have raked my brain for answers but cannot come up with anything except it must be the country of my origin.

To be honest, I was very patient the first 6 months. But now I don't think it has anything to do with Patience rather than recognizing something must be wrong.

No, but Canadians really should be. You'd think our relationship with the US would have better immigration benefits.

What can I say?! I called last night, was put on hold for 1 hour and 37 minutes, spoke with a very nice lady (with Southern accent). She was very sympathetic but could NOT tell me anything! She offered to do another Service Request but since I had done one myself (E-request) just last week, I declined her offer. She had no idea why my case was taking so long. She could not even tell me whether my are was before an adjudicator or not (something I know because my congressman's office told me). So I waisted almost 2hours of my time for nothing! Contacting the general customer service line is completely useless at this point! Besides suing USCIS I have no other recourse.

@Rezahoss- If you call the regular customer service, they only have the same information as you do. they pretty much look up on the same website which we use as well. We can place the service request on our own on the website as well. If anything, you need to talk to service Tier 2 Immigration officer. I tried two times, waited on the phone for so long, and they hang up on me.
