congrats Gringa Chapina on your NOA2!

Thanks, Sonineni! Yours is coming!!!!!! Just fyi - I was checking the USCIS site everyday, usually in the late morning-mid afternoon and I didn't know until the evening when I got the text message from USCIS. It was received at 6:08pm . I had tried to put in a service request before but 2 supervisors told me that I couldn't until they were past processing April 9th applications although others it seems have been able to put in a service request regardless.

Based on the recently approvals at VSC, seems like 7 months from our PD is when we should get NOA2. I'm over 6 months and still waiting as are many of my fellow april filers. Nothing good comes from a Service Request, All you'll get is "Your application is still within normal processing time".... this is a bunch of bull, I don't understand why CSC sends out approval within 3 months and we at VSC have to wait 7+ months.

Anyways, got my senator involved in this. At least this will let our government officials know that they need to work on a better immigration system.

Congrats to the recent approvals to my fellow VJ'ers. Best of luck on the remainder of your journey

Thanks, srey! Best of luck to you as well!!!!!! And I'm glad you contacted the Senator. My friends and family (American citizens) cannot believe what we (and everyone else applying) are going through because the average American is not aware of this lengthy process until they themselves are in it or they know someone else in it. I tell as many people that will listen what this is like to spread awareness.

Its so true. They think you can just marry and American and thats that you get a greencard mailed out to you a weeek later. Yeah right dont we wish! Congrats to those who got their NOA2. A november NVC thread should be coming up shortly, I suggest to join it. Its helped me through NVC. Just waiting on "case complete" now and then the Interview date God willing. Sonineni and Srey yours will be coming soon, receive it and speak it into existence, keep us updated.

Have a good week all :star:

My senator got back to me today. His office got the following reply from the service center:

"This file has been pulled and forwarded to an officer for review. Please allow the officer up to thirty days to complete the review."

I believe this is the generic statement they usually give to gov't officials. Anyways, another 30 days gives hope.

Sept 30 report still states 5 months processing time for i-130. Of which i know many of us are beyond 6 months waiting....

Any updates from anyone else?
