i did service request last month nothing happened had to open another service request this week .

Called Senator office told me to wait 30 days

Called Congressman Office who did send me a letter and the staff in his office who did inquiry told me good news is your case is with a adjudicator two weeks ago but still after two weeks a big nada no approval so far.

Called USCIS to speak to Tier II support i am put on hold and i did hold the phone for 1 hr twice not kidding had to hang up finally cant stand the boring music , emailed VSC,the uscis HQ , and countless other email no reply yet.

Where do we go its been more then 6 months and there is still another process after this approval.

What frustrates me is to see people from CSC getting approval from July of this year even though we paid the same fee we are being treated as second class citizen.

Is there any logical explanation behind this madness ?? A big no

Day number 175 and still waiting. I know this was going to be a long process but man, over 175 days to go from step 1 to 2 :crying:

At least there is support in this forum

Has anything come of the Service Request? Have you tried reaching out to your senator?

Nothing from the SR as of yesterday. I did contacted my congressman yesterday. I still have 7 days left of my service request. I'm thinking I should be proactive.

Yes rather keep them on their toes. Theres no harm in staying proactive

I noticed that k-1 filers have to present the 1-134 at the Consulate. What form(s) does CR-1 applicants have to present to the Consulate? Thank you.

Take your passport, passport pics, proof of maintaining a relationship and anything that bonafies the relationship, copies of any docs and forms submitted to USCIS and NVC (Optional), and your medical. I may have left something out. Others can add to this if need be..

I filed a service request. I called back today, and they said that our application is undergoing "additional review", and we should hear a "decision" before November 27. I don't really know what to make of this. They won't say what's causing the delay in the processing.

Does anyone have information about what an "additional review" means? (They did not say "administrative processing".) We haven't received any RFE's or any other letters from USCIS. Should we still send more photos and phone records? Would getting a lawyer help? I contacted Senator Kerry's office earlier, and they said they will let me know if they get more information from the Vermont office.

We are seriously worried at this point. :(

I know what you are going through just stay positive you will get it soon and about additional review dont worry about it, few months ago one india lady she got the same info when she called USCIS and after 1 or 2 week i believe she got the approval . Maybe you might get approaval even before 1 week from now.
