My PD: 23 April 2012.

Realistically, based on the forums it appears April filers will hear sometime in August 2012.

I request all Vermont April 2012 Filers to post to this forum about their status and

My priority date is April 23rd too, VSC filer. My husbands daughter keeps asking when I'm coming home and if i'll be back in time for Thanksgiving, this wait is really heart-breaking. God willing VSC will speed up soon and we'll be with our loved ones before we know it

Have you made an inquiry or heard from VSC regarding the delay? I think April filers will hear something in September because it will soon be August and they are just now approving March cases.

I had put a service request around 5.5 months and recieved a reply after 3 days that they are still reviewing my file and will recieve a decision or notice of other action within 60 days which is a generic email which they send to anyone puting a service request. My husband also tried to contact congressman but didnt hear anything back from them as well. So i think i just have to wait blindly, it may take upto a year or years who knows, they are not even sending any RFE incase they require more evidence.

Sorry to hear about your delay. It's such an odd agency and I think the hardest part for me is the unknown. Have they received my case? Has someone looked at it? Did we forget something? Will we get a RFE request? Is the file lost? There should definitely be a better system to inform people about their cases. A live tracking file would be ideal and you can actually see where you are in the shuffle. With all the technology we have today I can't image why they wouldn't want to improve their system. In the meantime, we wait....

The processing time for VSC in visa journey says they are working on files received as of March 7th (Yes, I know it's only an estimate). But CR-1 approvals on Igor's list says, someone was approved recently with a March 22, 2012 application date. That's a 15 day difference. Do you still think it's possible for April filers to receive notice in August?

And I thought this was a forum for April filers period not just if they were approved so I apologize if I got off topic.

USCIS states that you can't make an inquiry until 5 months and 15 days from the N01 date. I called them last month and the women informed me of this and then I located their policy about inquiries on the USCIS website. My N01 date was April 10th so I can't request an inquiry until the first week of October.

Considering Kpatel with PD of 18th Jan 2012 got approval yesterday. Im thinking for April filers it will be anywhere between September 15 and October 15.
