Well, don't worry too much...as long as it's not a super important question, you will be fine....I went through my file where we should have put ADDRESS of my fiance and mine working address, we just wrote the city and the country and we did not get any RFE.

As long as you have other questions answer proper and it is clear to them that you guys are not related, you will be fine. We are just human and human makes mistakes. They understand that.

Don't worry too much!

I was just going thru my application and realize that on question #17 of my 129- F where it ask if we are related I left it blank.... Do you guys think this will be a RFE??? I just notice and we are not related, damn!

Berhanu I hope I don't get an RFE for some putty stuff like that!!....

To tell you the truth La Negra, it's not a petty question. People have tried to marry other family members, like a distant cousin to obtain a visa. That's why the question is on the form. Matter of fact, there was a Dominican couple here who were denied because of this not too long ago. They claimed they were not related, but the Consulate denied them on that basis. Who knows if they really were or not. Maybe they didn't know they were. Each Consulate/Embassy does thorough background checks so they will find out one way or another.

And yeah, I hope you don't get an RFE either, but if you do, at least you know its an easy fix. Your case shouldn't be delayed too long over a blank.

K1 Visa Process -> 12/09-06/10 Married -> 09/10/10 AOS Process -> 09/10-12/10 Removal of Conditions-> 09/12-07/13

U.S. Naturalization -> 7/8/20

Unfortunately something as little as that may get you a REF since specify anything that does not apply to you to either put "N/A or "NONE" quiere a Dios que no te mande un REF.

But what you can do is edit you I-129F if you have it save just save it aside for in the event it does happen... I every so often look at my forms, and 2 days ago I found On the G325A (my form) where it asked for current Husband info. I accidentally put my husbands Middle Name as his first. So I'm concern myself about getting a REF over this. So I will just wait if off and see.

I WENT TO USCIS AND CHECK ALL THE NUMBERS AROUND MY NOA1 (03/26) AND COUNTED 143 129-F WITH CSC WITH THE SAME NOA AS ME....70 ARE APPROVED,21 HAVE RFE, 1 DENIED,1WITHDRAW,1 RE-OPEN AND 1 REJECTED. THERE IS ONLY 48 MORE TO GO AND MINE IS ONE OF THEM.
