My fiance and I are traveling to Bogota for her K1 Visa Interview. So I am looking for a hotel. Nice, but not too expensive. Close to the embassy, but in a nice neighborhood.

Does anyone have any recommondations for a hotel?

I can recommend the apartment where we stayed www.welovebogota.com. You can rent the entire apartment or rent individual rooms. It's close to the embassy, in a nice neighborhood and it has 24 hour security.

On my first trip to Bogota I stayed at the Radel Bogota http://www.hotelradelbogota.mex.tl/frameset.php?url=/photo_593582_Sin-Nombre.html it is half a block from the embassy, in a nice neighborhood free breakfast and the best deal I have found. There a are several others within a couple blocks of the embassy too because the Feria is so close, I liked this one because it was very clean nice had big rooms and they were very friendly. This is where I plan on staying again when I go for our interview in sept.

This was our room, not all of them had a balcony, but were still nice. The fiance of a friend of my fiance also stayed very close on the next block called Hotel Estellar de la Feria, very nice but more expensive. There is also Hotel Alto de la Embajada, Hotel Casa Fortel, Hotel San Rafael, Corferias Inn and Hotel Platinum Suite all within a couple blocks of the Embassy I know of them but have never stayed there so no info on niceness or price and these are just the ones I know of. As I said before between the Embassy and the Feria the are at least 20 Hotels in the area. Unfortunately most of them are no found on the travel sights.

Excellent hotel/casa. Clean, beautiful and very nice staff. The hotel includes breakfast. The staff know a lot about the visa process and were able to help my parents to get around bogota and the locations for the medical, ASC biometrics appt and the embassy. The embassy is located only 5 minutes away in car.
