Paying the fees

Hi everyone!

I wanna know if it would be possible to pay the fees of consulate with my fiances check from America for the amount of the Visa since it states to pay in American funds or do I need to have American cash?

im pretty sure they dont accept personal checks.

If she is paying for it then she has to send you money to a bank account or Western Union then you withdraw the funds and exchange them back to US currency to pay the consulate. Remember you loose money anytime you exchange.

Actually if I remember correctly they take dirham at the cashiers cage.

Above posts is correct...however, my fiancé paid the visa fee, as I had paid for all the other fees. He also paid for his medical and all translations needed. So if you want to help her out financially, you may suggest this nice offer to help.

You mean they exchange the MAD currency to US currency at the consulate??

It is different for each country. Click on Embassy Info at the top of the page and then click on the Moroccan flag and everything is explained to you. All this info will also come in the Packet 3 with your interview date & time. I do believe you pay in dirhams though.
